Posts denied despite it being a local issue and worded politely with no malicious intent

There is a problem in my neighborhood where dog walkers are leaving full bags of waste in other residents trash bins and yard refuse pickups, rather than bringing the bags to their own homes.  I asked nicely on several posts that this practice should stop.  No matter how nicely the post was edited, it was denied over 5 times.

In comparison, I have seen posts where a ring member has asked community parents to rein in teenagers that are riding bikes through yards and gardens.  My posts were even more politely worded.

Could there be a bias towards free use for dog walkers?  Are the moderators going beyond the “Community Guidelines” handbook?  I use ring with the hopes of addressing things like this that are a help to the community.

I’m not sure that I am willing to buy any more cameras from Ring.  I have tried to reply to the denial emails, as per instructions in the protocol for re evaluation.  But then I notice that the reply address states “do not reply” to that email.  Does anyone know a definitive way to get help other than to reply to the denial email, which ironically is a do not reply email?

Hi @user_ef6f46. That email should allow you to reply to inquire for further details on why your post was removed. Can you please share a screenshot of both the email you received, and the email address it was sent from?

It looks like the ring moderator here removed the screenshot in its original form from the email that I received from them.  They redacted the “do-not reply” address as you can see below.  It’s a shame, all I wanted was a specific reason that this simple community alert email was denied.  I am beginning to think that there are no real moderators on this site….  Only “bots” at ring.  Anyway, thanks for replying to my original email.  Have a pleasant day.

@user_ef6f46 No screenshots were removed, but our automated system did redact the email address. Apologies for the inconvenience, this measure is in place as we do not want users to share their own email address on a public forum.

We would still like to ensure this concern is addressed. At your convenience, please send a message @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram. You should be able to include both a screenshot and the email address in your message, allowing our team to look into this further.
