I have ring basic which expired on 28/12/25 which has been updated to 2026. Now I want to add a garden camera and update plan to Holme standard. The question is: will I lose money from cancelling my original plan or will it automatically just take the extra money?
Tried to phone ring but it rings and then stops

Hi @user_375e84. When you upgrade, you will be charged the full amount for your new plan and receive a prorated refund for your old plan, based on the amount of time left on the plan. You can find steps on how to upgrade your plan here.
