wired door bell 2nd generation
It is hardwired and has power. When checking app it shows a battery symbol that is red. No voice communication is available. Inside door bell will ring but it does not record. Spoke with a Customer service rep and she said it was too cold. I have had this door bell since 7/31/24 and it has been below 0 and it has always worked. The door bell does not have a removeable battery. Tried reseting it and still doesnt work. Your suggestion was to wait until it gets warmer. That is not an acceptable answer. I do have the Protection package.

Hi @user_f086a2. The Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) has an internal battery, which can be negatively impacted by cold weather. Bring the doorbell inside and connect it to the charger. If the doorbell is still unresponsive after that, please follow up with a member of our social support team @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram.
