Hi everyone! I have a question about Ring’s Motion Detection. I’m the admin/account owner, but the Ring account is also logged into other phones.
If I disable Motion Detection on my phone, will the cameras still detect and record motion and save it to Event History because I have a Ring subscription? Or does disabling Motion Detection stop motion recording completely?
Also, if I disable it only on my phone, will motion detection still work/record on the other phones that are logged into the same account, or does the setting apply to the entire Ring account/device?
I just want to understand how it works before I change anything. Thank you!

Hi @user_a78bed. Only the Owner of the Ring account can adjust the Motion Settings. Shared Users of the Ring account can adjust their Motion Notifications for Ring Devices. So they can't adjust where the camera detects motion, just if they get notified of motion in the selected motion zone. You can learn more about this here. I hope this helps!
