Home invasion help
alarm

While in Home mode my alarm triggered at 3:15AM.  Ring called my cell phone and when I didn’t answer left me a voicemail.  Ring called again and with the alarm still sounding in the background I answered because I needed to know where the intrusion occurred (I have a large 2-story house).  It asked me to “acknowledge” the call, accepted my requests for information as being that acknowledgment, then disconnected.  Turned out to be an entry sensor where the magnet detached.  Had it been a home invasion, what was I to do to get a police response?

I have a Ring Pro station with the pro monitoring plan, just FYI.

Hi @user_c75115. I'm glad to hear this was a false alarm, and that everyone is safe. You can reference the different types of Ring Alarm events and how the monitoring center responds to them here. In this situation, police dispatch will be requested when none of the emergency contacts answer, if an emergency contact answers but does not know the verbal password, or if any emergency contact answers and requests help.
