Combine Ring Blink into one subscription
troubleshooting

I have 2 ring doorbells and one inside ringer, 2 blink cameras, and 2 Alexa Shows. I have one ring plus subscription. It is my understanding that I can get the ring and blink cameras combined into the one subscription. I cannot get the ring subscription to recognize either blink camera. The objective is to store and be able to view actions from all four then add two more cameras. The blink outside camera works on the single free blink subscription. The two ring doorbells work on the paid ring subscription. The remaining blink works well but does not record since I have not paid for a separate blink subscription. . What more to try?

Hi @user_8d5852. You cannot combine any other cameras from another brand with your Ring Protect Plan.

You realize that Amazon owns both brands?

It can be done thru Alexa, you will need a blink and Ring subscription, then link to Alexa.

I dont think a lot of users realize the devices themselves use different Software; its not about Company ownership but technical Software and Hardware incompatibility. Kind of like how Apple Software doesnt always work on Windows Computers and iOS doesnt do well on Android. Maybe that is a way to explain it? Say Blink is Android and Ring is iOS as an analogy.
