activate Ring intercom by ring door bell

Hi, I replaced my old intercom system by the the Ring Doorbell pro. I could open my frontdoor remotely (with the old intercom system) I've bought a ring intercom to be able to open the frontdoor remotely. When installing the intercom via the app, the app asked for a brand /type intercom. Which is now the ring doorbell. Is it possible to activate the ring intercom if someone stands at the frontdoor (pressing the ring doorbell)? Can I install the ring intercom without a brand?
