Ring door bell connected to Amazon Echo 4th gen

Question

Hi I'm using an Amazon echo dot 4th gen as a Chime, I want the volume of this to be up full but when listening to the radio this volume is too loud, so when I turn the volume for the radio down it also turns the volume of the chime down. Is there a way to set a specific volume for the chime no matter what volume you have your dot set at for other uses ?

Hi @Steed69. That setting would have to be within the Alexa App, as the alert tone is playing through the Echo Dot rather than through a Ring device. If you can't find any settings in the Alexa App to control how the volume behaves for different functions, I'd recommend contacting the Alexa support team [here](https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201602230) to see if they have a feature request system available to add this suggestion in. :)
