Linked Devices Lighting Bug?
Hello all, I'll try to explain my issue / bug as best as possible. I have a Ring spotlight camera and ring floodlight. I have linked the spotlight to the floodlight via "linked devices" and have it set so when the spotlight detects motion the floodlight records and turns on the light. I have my floodlight set to 5 minutes however when the ring spotlight triggers it only stays on for 30sec. So instead of staying on for 5mins, it shuts off after 30sec even with the setting on 5mins. When the device is unlinked motion keeps it on for 5mins. When linked 30sec. I'm not sure if its a bug, intended or what but i would like the setting on the floodlight to reflect when linked to my spotlight. Example below on my thought.Currently:(Spotlight detects motion) Floodlight records > light stays on for 30sec than turns of even though the settings has it for 5mins.What i want:(Spotlight detects motion) Floodlight records > light stays on for 5mins to reflect the setting set regardless of link.

Lets hope they see it here & fix it. There's a lot of bugs or lockouts with this app. I would like ring to give us more features / freedoms instead of locking us to what they want to do.

JHi neighbors. This is intended functionality. The lights will only stay on for 30 seconds for linked events on cameras. As we value our neighbors' feedback, we've created a Feature Request board. Feel free to add this and any future feature requests there. I'm having the same problem. Called customer care, they couldn't figure it out. Super disappointed in Ring's products recently.
