I second this! There’s no easy way for me to make sure I’m reviewing every notification without writing down and manually keeping track of the last time I checked. I really relied on that number. If there’s any way to add it back in the settings, that would be wonderful! In my neighborhood there’s some weirdos wandering around here. I never want to miss if someone is checking my gate or wandering around the property. I religiously check every camera notification on all 9 of the cameras on my property. This update definitely makes that more difficult to do.

UYes thank you! Came here to say the same. Where did it go? This is awful! You need to visually and quickly see how many activities you've missed since last opening the app, with it having to click into each camera and scroll back through the timeline looking for any, esp when you don't even know how far back to go. The indicator used to give a number of activities since last looking at it. If there were none, no indicator, you can skip checking that camera. Now I have to check all cameras every time. And notifications is not a suitable replacement at all.
Again, this is an awful change.
Ring PLEASE fix this, and the devices moving to bottom of app.

USame here, this was a terrible change. I don’t have time to hunt through event history. Give us the red notification counter back.

I agree that this is a big problem! It makes the Ring product and app useless. So now I'm dependent on having my phone unsilenced and right next to me at all times to immediately look at the push notification to know where the motion occurred? Ridiculous. If my phone is silent, an intruder could be lurking and I would have no idea when I look at the Dashboard and see that nothing happened because there's no events counter.

WThere is no logical explanation for what they have done to the app. It's useless now

It appears that a Ring moderator has marked this as an “accepted solution” but nobody is saying the “events history” is a solution to the now removed red badges counter of unseen events!

WThey don't care. Buy more Ring products, that's all they care about

I’ve been enjoying all of my Ring equipment for over a year. However, The latest update in my opinion is a move in the wrong direction. Red marks no longer appear on cameras with new events. As I have 6 cameras with varying degrees of priority, I now have to scroll through all to make sure I don’t miss anything critical. This means sometimes over 30 videos. Ugh. Is this feature gone for good?

JHi @user_c2a20e. At Ring, we are continually releasing new features and functionality based on customer feedback. The “Unseen Events Counter” was recently updated. Your feedback will be shared with our product team. We appreciate your input and your loyalty as a Ring customer.

SI agree, the latest version is terrible.
Why oh why couldn't you just leave it alone as it was great before the update.
I had to reset show live stream when clicking on video.
Had to fix sound issues.
Now because my group names are different I have to click on three separate groups to turn off multiple lights where before the update it was a one button press to turn off all lights.
It's a terrible update.
Why do programmers continue to screw up great functionality and turn it into crap.

ASAP! as a customer I'm thinking of getting somebody else for my security system. We can't be glue to the phone or check what's going on with out camaras without being properly notified. Most of the time my phone is in silence and that's the ONLY reliable notification I have TOOK AWAY THE 3 DOTS and put back the notifications please. This is caotic

UI'd like to roll back to the prior version please. This latest update is horrible. I, like most, had personalized system settings and since this update, it has mostly changed... for the worse. When I change modes, I get alerts. I want that turned off. When opening the app, each camera no longer shows the number of new recordings. I now must open EACH CAMERA. Is there a way to restore my settings???

It seems like the latest update eliminated the red circle with new activity on each camera. Can that be added back in? Now it just indicates new activity at the top and does not indicate which camera had the activity.
