Has anyone else noticed that these post dates go back YEARS?

We just installed a RING system and we're now having the SAME problem. 

In fact, it will pick up someone coming, but not going..or going but never coming...it will pick up the postie coming and going but the not the dog walker that showed up a few minutes before or after the postie.... the doorbell/cam is screwed to the wooden door, so it's not moving around. 

So why is it consistently inconsistent????? 

I too tried calling them but who can sit on hold for HOURS waiting??? 

My time is $$ too, RING. This is AWFUL service on what is clearly a HUGE ISSUE with this doorbell/cam. 

Ps: I almost left work early the other day because I didn't get notification that my dog walker had come to pick up my puppy! That would have been costly, never mind unfair to my employer and co-workers. 

RING - don't quote the same directions to us when clearly they are not working, nor is there anyone answering their phone! 

Pps: I tried to "reply" to the original poster but "there is an error - please try again later" error message. Go figure!
